I am a licensed psychoanalyst and psychotherapist in New York City, specializing in relationship issues, anxiety, LGBTQIA issues, and trauma. My style is approachable and warm while open to challenge and complexity. I consider it an honor to help others process difficult emotional content, develop self-insight, and create meaningful change. My graduate education in psychology is from Harvard University. Additionally, I have completed five years of post-graduate training in contemporary psychoanalysis and adult psychotherapy. I have specialized training and post-graduate certifications in trauma studies, addiction, and adolescent psychotherapy. I bring insight to my practice from a previous career within the finance industry and have earned an advanced degree within the field. I contribute to the psychoanalytic community as a board director for the National Institute for the Psychotherapies (NIP), where I also clinically supervise post-graduate candidates in training. I am a member of the American Psychological Association (APA), the International Association for Relational Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy (IARPP), and the National Association for the Advancement of Psychoanalysis (NAAP). I have a deep respect for the individuals that I work with. I meet with adults, adolescents, and couples, differing in sexual orientation, gender, upbringing, lifestyle, race, religion, and occupation.
