I've been in private practice for over 25 years and have an abiding belief in the healing power of telling our stories. My work is informed by interpersonal psychoanalytic ideas. I'm a graduate of the Manhattan Institute for Psychoanalysis, a former Co-Director of the Institute and of the MIP General Treatment Center for Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis. I work with individuals and couples whose many concerns include life-cycle transitions, relationship issues, parenting , coping with illness and loss, anxiety and depression. Life experience and years in practice give me a perspective that allows for an open exchange of ideas and for expressing deeply felt experiences.
