I studied literature in college and got my first masters in Comparative Literature. I moved to New York, worked in book publishing, the UN and eventually as a journalist. My experience learning about many walks of life and my long-standing curiosity about what makes people tick, brought me to the decision to become a therapist (plus most of the teachers at my nursery school were analysts, so perhaps it was built in). I got my MSW, worked in a mental health clinic, completed my analytic training at MIP, a course on attachment and the first year of life, and most recently our course on the nature and treatment of trauma. I enjoy the endless opportunity to learn in this field and cherish the work of inviting people to be curious about themselves, their early experience, who and what they want to be and how they want to live their lives going forward.
